Soundwerks Audio at the 2005 MIAC/PAL Show!

Soundwerks Audio invites you to the 2005 MIAC/PAL Showcase at the International Center in Toronto, Ontario. The show will be held August 21-22, from 10:00 am until 6:00pm both days. Please visit our booth #530. DJ technology has been on the rise in the past few years. No longer are DJs relying on the usual CDs or vinyl records for their sets. Now things like a laptop computer, time-coded vinyls, MP3s and MIDI are being implemented by today's DJs. You can now mix music entirely with your PC using MP3s without ever having to touch a CD or vinyl record. Or if you prefer the feel of vinyl, technology now exists to use time-coded records to play digital music from your laptop. In addition, special DJ mixers and other devices offer MIDI controls that allow DJs to tap into their creative potential by using many of the new generation of software on today's market. Now you can control loops, special effects, samples and other settings on your computer directly from your DJ mixer. This allows the DJ not only to play music, but to become a musician by using more musical elements on the fly.
